IB Art Show

Below are picture from my IB art show. They aren't in order and there are a few pieces missing, but only like 4 I think. It was fun, my mom got out of the hospital to come see it, and I sold some stuff. Been busy and been procrastinating with school lately, shit here is boring. I'm sick of school and I want Summer to come quick so I can go to Virginia. 

At this point the heart was only held by one piece of fishing line rather than two, it shouldn't really look like this. This was a self portrait.

The brain was a cube outta polaroids, it had a picture of my family, skateboard, basquiat's art, jesus, and a naked babe. 

The volume dial spins, and the right dial was supposed to be an on/off switch, but it also broke off somewhere in the year and we couldn't find it to fix it. 

The volume/speed levers and dials also move on this thing and you can switch out records or whatever. 

Sold the top photography gay piece that i hate for 85 bucks.

Gay times.

These Mickey things were my first pieces, and therefore really gay. But this dude wanted to buy this Nazi piece for 70 bucks.

i just watched Joe Dirt. it's 5:24 am. This painting is due at 8:45am. Looks like i wont be resting up for class. Here's the final piece.... i think. You can see a previous starter piece in a previous post, youll see all the figures are gone. i thought they sucked.

I feel like i have senioritis again. After all the portfolio madness and getting accepted into my department for next year, I'm completely brain-dead. I find myself laying around my room instead of writing papers and going out and exploring richmond late at night. I'm currently looking for an apartment with Jeff, and we're not having too much luck. Hopefully we'll get something by the end of the week. That's all.

In a congradulatory state of mind, we (Iain, Jacob, and myself) finally got around to getting our prison tats. Jacob got into communication arts, I got into painting and printmaking, and Iain is just a rad guy. Not too much else to say about it. Instead of the "you tattoo me, i tattoo you" rule of thumb, i ended up being the tattooer, which might have worked out better, who knows . I really enjoyed the live music at Jeff's house and thanks to you for having us over to do our stabbing. Ok, here's what you actually care about....pictures

first things first, i got accepted into the Painting and Printmaking department for fall 2008 at VCU. It was my first choice so i'm super pumped on that.



Paintings i is currently working on(that means these aren't finished)...

the second one is turning out lookin a little too much like Rich Jacob's stuff. which isnt the purpose, but he is rad none-the-less.
